According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), A female Saudi activist was called for questioning by the General Intelligence Administration in Qatif.

Sources informed that the social and civil activist Lamiaa Al-Shoyoukh was put under repeated questioning for the past several months.

The questioning of Ms. Al-Shoyoukh started after opening a Shia religious Saloon called it «Al-Shoyoukh Saloon».

The rationale behind the name «Al-Shoyoukh Saloon» is the official ban by the Saudi authorities on building Shia religious saloons.

Sources informed the recent summon was on last week. In addition to Ms. Al-Shoyoukh, her brothers were also questioned several times.

Ms. Al-Shoyoukh is a public social figure in the city of Qatif and has published several articles on the web and practices teaching in a local school.
